Electrosurgical unit analyzer. IEC 60601-2-2 — medical electrical equipment — particular requirements for the basic safety and essential performance of high frequency surgical equipment. An electrosurgical analyser measures the output power, the crest factor and the distribution of HF current across the range a generator can deliver. This unit is built by Kingpo for bench use in a medical electrical safety laboratory, and it is supplied with a calibration certificate.

How a test run works
- Configure the supply condition and the measuring device arrangement the clause requires.
- Connect the equipment under test, including any applied part and earth reference.
- Select or program the sequence: normal condition first, then the single-fault conditions.
- Run, capture the readings and compare them with the allowable values in the standard.
- Store or print the result set; the test report needs every condition, not just the pass.
